Knitting club.
So, I just got back from this event at my school where each sport/club had a table and ALL the tiny 8th graders showed up to register for activities they wanted to join. I was at the knitting club table and I was super excited to meet incoming high schoolers who were interested in knitting. We even brought our completed knitted projects to advertise.
….Anddddd one person signed up for...

I hate technology...
Well, at least when it doesn’t do what I want it to do.
I haven’t posted much the past week or so because my camera is not working. BUT, I have pictures of things I need to show you guys! I made a pair of fingerless gloves and I’m currently working on a frilly scarf. And I’m about to start my sweater. I also got a bunch of really pretty yarn that needs to be posted.

Teaching my boyfriend how to knit...
…is pretty interesting. And adorable.
As of now, he knows how to cast on and do the knit stitch. But his knitting style is really hilarious because he’s like “I’m a manly man and I will use ALL OF MY MUSCLES when I knit!”
And then the stitches are so tight on the needles that they won’t budge when I try to move them.
Aww, I love that boy.

I want to knit another blanket.
Mainly because I could cover myself with it while I make it. I like being warm and I like knitting, and knitting a blanket fulfills both of these interests!
Blankets are just so…big. And they take forever.

THE END IS IN SIGHT.
Just finished the second fingerless glove for my friend Sara! Pictures shall be posted tomorrow. Below I’m just reposting the unfinished first glove as a preview for the finished product (it’s dark right now and my camera sucks in dim lighting).
Now I have one more glove to make for my lovely boyfriend. ONE MORE. Then I’m DONE with holiday knitting. And this one’s a...

Republican debate tonight.
Guess who’s gonna be knitting while watching it? This girl!
Although I’m not quite sure why I still watch these debates…they mainly make me frustrated. Maybe the angry feelings I have towards some of the candidates will increase my knitting efficiency. Knitting + anger = super fast knitting? I suppose we will have to see.
But seeing as I just spent an hour knitting and...

Scariest moment of my life.
I just finished my mom’s scarf and I had ONE inch of yarn left over. Literally, ONE inch. And that was the only skein of that yarn I had.
That was almost a disaster. Almost.
Phew…
In other news, my grandma doesn’t want to knit anymore so she’s giving me all of her needles. She has a lot of needles. AW YEAH.

Oh, the wonders of bulky yarn.
Can I just say how much I love bulky yarn? It knits up quickly, which is totally a plus, but what I love more is how sculptural it is. You can see each individual stitch, and each stitch has its own presence. I love it.
I’m currently working on a lace scarf for my mom (pics to come) and I’m using Cascade Magnum yarn. It’s soft, beautiful, and BIG. Like seriously, the yarn is huge. It really makes...

Please follow me!
I just started this knitting blog, so new followers would be much appreciated! I promise to follow back. :)
I’ve been knitting for a few years but this is my first venture into the blogosphere to share my knitting thoughts and pictures of my projects. I knit A LOT, so this blog should be updated pretty frequently.
